A driver may refuse to accept a person as a passenger, or refuse to continue the hiring of the vehicle by a person if the driver believes, on reasonable grounds, that his or her personal safety would be, or is, threatened or endangered or the person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, is in a filthy condition, is consuming food or drink is noisy, violent, or is disturbing the peace is accompanied by an animal unless that person has a disability and the animal is a guide dog.


Passengers can bring one piece of checked luggage weighing up to 20kg and one piece of carry-on luggage.

The driver is responsible for baggage once accepted, or when a passenger is on board, embarking or disembarking the vehicle.

For carry-on luggage, all these things are not permitted.

• Chilly bins and bags with food.

• Liquids and creams not in watertight containers

• Flammable liquids

• Explosives (Gas Cylinders)

• Poisons or hazardous substances

• Fuel and solvents

• Guns and other weapons

• Illegal drugs

• Animals

Tickets & booking fees

Once you’ve paid, you can’t change any part of your booking. There are no refunds, so if you cancel or don’t show up, we can’t give your money back. There’s a non-refundable booking fee of $1.99 for all online bookings. A driver may refuse to accept a passenger if the passenger has failed to produce a valid prepaid voucher, or the driver has sought prepayment of the fare but has been refused.
